"Trek across Dachstein Glacier"

Based at the Obertrauner Hof, surrounded by the magnificent Dachstein Massif. This awesome setting is the perfect start to your trek.
Day One, allows you to get over your journey and limber up with a walk around the peaceful Hallstattersee.
Day Two, briefing from your local guide and a short transfer to the starting point in the foothills above Hallstatt. From here a gentle trek, including a small amount of climbing to the first mountain hut for your overnight stay.
Day Three, climbing high towards the Glacier and the second mountain hut.
Day Four, up early for the long trek across the Dachstein Glacier to it's peak at 3,100m and on to your final mountain hut.
Day Five, the trek back down to Hallstatt, where a kayak awaits, paddle across the peaceful waters to Obertraun.
Day Six, relax after your trek, take in the famous caves or visit Hallstatt.
