"Garden Route Bush & Beach Adventure"

Day 1: Lalibela Game Lodge
You will be met at the Airport by a friendly driver, who will transfer you to Lalibela Game Lodge, which is located approximately 90km from Port Elizabeth. Upon arrival you will freshen up and join the rangers on an afternoon game drive. In the evening you will relax in the dining boma, joining in interesting conversation with other guests.

Day 2: Super Tubes Guest House
This morning you will go for a morning game drive and enjoy a hearty breakfast before your driver will collect you, to transfer you back to Port Elizabeth. You will be met by your guide, who will give you a briefing on the Garden Route Tour to familiarize you with the route, destinations and attractions en-route.

Following that you will depart to Jeffreys Bay, but not before you have enjoyed a short historical tour of Port Elizabeth. Jeffreys Bay is about a hours drive from Port Elizabeth. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure, strolling along the beach, relaxing in one of the many restaurants or visiting the popular surf and curio shops in the central business district.

Day 3: Tsitsikamma National Park
After breakfast you will depart from Jeffreys Bay to head further south, towards Storms River. En-route you will visit Storms River Village and the Big Tree. Before turning off into the Conservation area, you will have the option to do a canopy tour, high up in the tree tops of the forest giants. In the nature reserve you will spend your day at leisure going for a walk across the suspension bridge over Storms River mouth and if you feeling energetic you could do a hike to either the lookout or the waterfall. In the evening you will have the option to enjoy a cooked dinner at the popular restaurant.

Day 4: Knysna
After breakfast you will depart from Tsitsikamma and travel towards Knysna. En-route you will have the option to visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden. Knysna is a typical holiday town with many tourist shops and an array of quant street cafes and restaurants. You will have the opportunity to visit the Waterfront development. In the afternoon you will have the option to go on a featherbed cruise on the Knysna lagoon to view the sunset over the Heads.

Day 5: Botlierskop Game Reserve
This morning you will depart from Knysna and set out towards Mossel Bay. En-route you will travel through the sleepy coastal towns of Sedgefield, and Wilderness. Time permitting you will have the option to do shark cage diving in Mosselbay, before booking in at Botlierskop Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met by rangers you will take you on a game drive to encounter rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and a variety of antelope. In the evening you will relax with other guests in the dining area, or sit on your private deck enjoying the sounds of the bush after dark.

Day 6: Cape Town
After breakfast and a morning game drive you will take to the road, on route to Cape Town. There will be opportunity for some sight seeing along the way, although no activities are planned. Sit back and relax, whilst reminiscing about your experiences of the past few days. By late afternoon you will be dropped off at the airport, in time to board your flight.

The Lodges:

*Lalibela Game Reserve:
Lentaba, the "lodge on the hillside", sleeps 16 people in eight secluded thatched chalets, placed where magnificent indigenous gardens merge into the surrounding bush. Each en-suite unit has a private observation deck to make the most of the views over the valley bushveld. Each chalet also has a ceiling fan. The main lodge, decorated in traditional safari style, boasts a large lounge, viewing deck and a sunny swimming pool where you can spend a lazy afternoon. The outdoor dining "boma" has a commanding view of a waterhole which is spotlit after dark for night game viewing. There is also a stylish indoor dining area. Brunch is served al fresco on the main viewing deck.

*Super Tubes Guest Lodge:
Situated in the coastal town of Jeffreys Bay, Super Tubes Guest Lodge is right beside the world renowned surf break - Supertubes. Beautiful bathing beaches scatter the coastline where rate shells are highly sought after. Dolphins play in the waves, just out side your window - come and relax in this beautiful setting.

*Tsitsikamma National Park:
Tsitsikamma National Park is set at the heart of the Garden Route, at the mouth of the mighty Storms River from there its name “place of much water”. The park features many hiking trails to suit all fitness levels. The enchanting forest, abundant fynbos and Majestic Ocean makes it a beautiful conservation area.

*Overmeer Guest:
Overmeer, which translates as “over the lagoon” is set high up, overlooking the beautiful Knysna lagoon and estuary. This 5 star guest lodge offer luxury air conditioned rooms with a beautiful view over the landscape below. The view and warm hospitality will make it a memorable stay.
