"The Tale of 3 Cities - 9 Days"

Join us on a journey to three of Asia’s most fascinating cities. This tour begins with a contrasting look at graceful Hanoi and dynamic Saigon, mixed in with a cookery lesson and visits to some of our favourite local restaurants for a unique culinary experience. We visit major places of interest in each city before taking a short flight to Siem Reap, site of the stunning temples of Angkor, and the masterpiece monument, Angkor Wat.

Day 1: Hanoi ( D)

Arrive Hanoi and transfer to your centrally located hotel. This evening, welcome drinks before being introduced to the wonders of Vietnamese cuisine at one of the city’s great local restaurants.

Day 2: Hanoi (B,D)

Vietnam’s capital is a graceful, stately city. Experience its interesting history, tree-lined boulevards and faded colonial architecture during our city tour. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Quarter and the intriguing Old Quarter, full of historic houses, busy restaurants, and Chinese temples. In the evening, dine at one of the city’s French-influenced restaurants.

Day 3 : Ha Noi - Halong Bay – Ha Noi (B,L)

We travel to Halong Bay and cruise past thousands of limestone islands, enjoying a seafood lunch on board. Back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Ha Noi – Saigon ( B )

This morning we fly to Saigon and begin with an orientation walk, visiting some of the city’s most interesting sites. We then travel to Cholon – the bustling Chinatown district – and one of the city’s busiest markets for a look at the incredible array of vegetables, herbs, spices and tropical fruit. Free night shopping and exploring Saigon at your leisure.

Day 5: Sai Gon - Cu Chi (B,L)

In the morning, we enjoy a cooking class with a local chef who will explain more about the wonderful flavours of Vietnamese cuisine. Travel to the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels,

Day 6 : Sai Gon -Mekong Delta ( B,D)

then explore the river networks in the luscious Mekong Delta. Finish your stay in Saigon with dinner at one of the city’s best local restaurants.

Day7: Sai Gon -The Temples Of Angkor ( B )

Take the short flight to Siem Reap, at the doorstep of the remarkable Angkor temple complex.

Day 8 : Siem Reap ( B, L)

Venture into the centre of the ancient Khmer city with an in-depth exploration of the eerie Bayon towers, and see the world’s largest religious structure, stunning Angkor Wat, at both sunset and sunrise

Day 9 : Siem Reap ( B,D )

We take in other temple highlights, including jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, left as it was found by French explorers more than one hundred years ago. Also visit Banteay Srei – this exquisite temple is a showpiece of delicate and perfectly preserved carvings.

Day 10 : Siem Reap – Departure ( B )

Our journey to three of Asia’s truly great cities ends with your transfer to the airport.
