Day 1 Nairobi / Lake Manyara
Pick from your Nairobi hotel. 8.00 a.m. Depart Nairobi for Arusha town for lunch, via Namanga border town for immigration formalities. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. A good network of tracks and roads in the park allows excellent viewing opportunities. Animals seen include buffalo and elephant. Other animals present that can be seen with luck are the tree climbing lions, leopard and black rhino. Lesser flamingos and Egyptian geese are some of the birds seen here. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 2 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro crater for a full day of tracking game with your guide on the crater floor. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen. Other species encountered are cheetah, grant's and Thompson´s gazelle, common zebra, wildebeest and the spotted hyena. Flamingos may also be seen at the crater lake. This day will truly be an unforgettable encounter. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 3 Ngorongor/Tarangire
After breakfast leave Ngorongoro for Tarangire National Park which serves as a dry season refuge for animals from as far north as Serengeti and Ngorongoro as it has a permanent river flowing across it. The park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has fewer visitors than the other parks in Tanzania's northern circuit. Arrive in time for a game drive; lunch will be taken enroute. The park contains all the big five except leopard. Other migratory game seen here includes cape buffalo, hoopoes, lovebirds, starling, rock pythons, albino giraffe, puff adders, the fringe eared Oryx and the gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 4 Tarangire / Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on your final game drive then leave for your onward journey to Nairobi via Arusha for lunch and Namanga border town for immigration formalities. Arrive in the mid evening.

- 6 DAYS L. MANYARA/NGORONGORO/SERENGETI/TARANGIRE

Day 1 Nairobi/Lake Manyara
7.15 a.m. Pick from your Nairobi hotel. 8.00 a.m. Depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a late afternoon/early evening game drive via Namanga border town for immigration formalities and Arusha town for lunch. The park is renowned for it's bird life, which includes flamingos and Egyptian geese as well as its tree-climbing lions. The park is small in size and the time you spend there will be sufficient to cover the park exhaustively. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour, taking picnic lunches with you. This visit will actually give you the highest chances of spotting the rare black rhino. The crater is 670 metres deep. The rest of the big five may be seen. Other species encountered include cheetah, grant's and Thompson´s gazelle, the common zebra, spotted hyena and wildebeest. Flamingos may also be seen on the crater lake. In between tracking game, you will have a break for lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. In the evening ascend up and out of the crater to spend the night at a lodge or campsite on the crater rim.

Day 3 Ngorongoro/Serengeti
After breakfast depart the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the Serengeti National Park via the pre-historic site at Olduvai Gorge. The gorge museum has great wealth of the remains of various flora and fauna from the early man era. Continue to the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 4 Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon. It is possible to view all the big five. Animals here are seen in very large herds, especially wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. The park is one of the largest in the world; it's animal concentration and abundance is unequalled. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra occurs in this park in June/July. In the parks central plains there are carnivores like lion, leopard, hyenas and cheetah. Rest of meals and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 5 Serengeti/Tarangire
After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Tarangire National Park, lunch enroute. The park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has fewer visitors than all the other parks in Tanzania's entire northern circuit. Blue monkeys, hornbills, pelicans, herons can be seen as well as elephants in large herds, cheetah, jackal, fish eagle, marabou stork and hippos. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 6 Tarangire/Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive then depart for Arusha for lunch and your onward transfer to Nairobi via Namanga border town for immigration formalities, arriving in the evening
