Arrival at Addis Ababa
Day 1- Arrive Addis Ababa and meet one of our representatives in the Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight Global Hotel

Bahirdar-Blue Nile gorge
Day 2- Drive in the morning to the Portuguese Bridge, The Blue Nile Gorge and The most important monastery of the medieval time-Debre Libanos-Once it was a popular monastery in the Ethiopian History. Overnight Tana Hotel
Bahir Dar
Day 3 – Full day in Bahir Dar, (Set at 1,830 m. above sea level) an attractive town with tree-lined avenues and the deep blue lake in the background. Lake Tana is Ethiopia's largest lake and is dotted with islands which dated back to the 14th century, hosting precious Christian manuscripts, crosses and paintings of the medieval time. After breakfast Depart by boat to visit the Zege peninsula for monasteries of Ura Kidanemihret and Azewa Mariam, to see mural paintings, crowns, crosses etc. On the way back to Bahir Dar see place where the Blue Nile River and Lake Tana join. After lunch break drive to the Blue Nile falls and visit the local market, the Woito village (where the local people make the Papyrus boat) Overnight Tana Hotel
Gondar
Day 4- Drive to Gondar- visit the castle compound of King Fasilades and the church of Debre Berhan Silassie, rich with its mural paintings, the Bath of king Fasiledes and Kusquam Mariam church Overnight Goha hotel




Gondar Tekeze valley
Day 5- Drive to Axum through the spectacular semien mountain national park chains and the Tekezze Valley. Overnight Rehmay Hotel
Axum
Day 6- Full day in the town of Axum once one of the four great powers of the ancient world. We will see the remarkable stele or obelisks, the largest single pieces of stone standing anywhere on the world. There are also tombs and castles of former monarchs, the Axum Museum and Mariam Tsion Church, built on the site of Ethiopia's first church.

A chapel within the church compound is believed by Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to house the Ark of the Covenant, or the original tablets of Moses. Our tour starts with a visit to the museum and the stele. Then you ascend a hill to see the castle of King Kalab, passing Mai Shum (the bath of the Queen of Sheba) on the way. Coming back into town, you will see the tomb of King Basen, visit the small museum inside the church grounds, and end the day at the site known as 'Queen Sheba's Palace'. Overnight Rehmay Hotel

Debre Damo monastery
Day 7- Drive to Mekele-en route visit Debredamo monastery the first sub Saharan Christian church – (allowed only for men)-Yeha Temple-a pagan temple of the 5th C BC and Aba Garima monastery-a monastery founded by one of the 9 saints from Syria. Overnight Axum Hotel

Mekele –Hamedella
Day 8- In the morning drive to Hamed ella through the villages of Afar people and spectacular lowland scenery. Overnight Camping

Danakil depression-Salt Caravan
Day 9- Early in the morning drive to Dallol through Hamed Ella en rout visiting Lake Asale known for its Rock Salt and thousands of camel caravan and farther visit Dallol the lowest place in Ethiopia surrounded with different color combination mineral floating on the ice colored rock salt.. Over night camping.

Ertaale
Day 10 In the morning drive to Maydodo village and in the afternoon arrange camel and Camel trek to Ertaale and you will climb up Ertale active volcanic mountain. After visiting the unbelievable volcanic eruption spend the night in camping around Ertale.





Hamedella
Day 11 Morning back to Maydodo village to meet your car and drive back to Hamedela. Overnight camping

Mekele
Day 12 Morning you will continue to Agula (90KM) Junction point to Mekelle (40KM) and free leisure afternoon. Overnight Axum Hotel

Lalibela and cave churches
Day 13 - Drive to Lalibela-(Set at 2,600 masl) –en route visit the famous cave church-Yimrhane Kiristos-it means in English-let Christ lead us –a church built in the time of Zaghwe dynasty of the 13th century by King Yimrhane. Overnight Roha Hotel
Lalibela
Day 14- Full day in Lalibela -At the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th centuries, King Lalibela of the Zaghwe dynasty built a series of rock hewn churches, rightly acknowledged as one of the wonders of the world. Visit the first group of churches, second group of churches, which represent the Heavenly Jerusalem and visit the church of St. George. Overnight Roha Hotel
Dessie
Day 15 Drive to Dessie and en route visit the monastery of Nacutoola’ab ,one of the most beautiful monasteries in the town of Lalibela. Overnight Lalibela Hotel
Addis Ababa and Departure
Day 16-Drive to Addis Ababa and after having a traditional Ethiopian dinner and dance in one of the renowned restaurant of Addis, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure home
