"Fairy Meadows & Hunza Tour"

From south to the north on Karakarum Highway you will cross different areas. This is a program for nature lovers, during drive up from Islamabad to Hunza on the way you can view different landscape, people, and lifestyle in Mansera, Besham, Kohistan, Chilas, Gilgit and Hunza. Each area keeps its own identification.
Fairy Meadow is lush green plateau situated in the foot gin of Nanga Parbat at the Western edge of the Himalayan Range. The name Fairy Meadows is part of the legend that Fairies have their heaven on this lush green plateau. This legendry name Fairy Meadows is everlasting gift of the western tourist to the local people.Fairy Meadow offers superb views of the Nanga Parbat (8125 m) the highest mountain in Pakistan in Himalayas. (9th highest in the world)


Itinerary:

DAY-01 Arrival in Islamabad and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

DAY-02 Departure for Chilas. The main attraction of Chilas is the incredible collection of Rock Art, which depicts early history of the region. Short stay en-route for lunch. Overnight in hotel

DAY-03 Departure for Raikot bridge where we will transfer into the 4WD (Mountain Jeep) for Tata village, arrive at Tato and start trek to Fairy Meadows this trek will take 2 hours to reach at Fairy Meadows. Overnight in Huts

DAY-04 Day hike to the Nanga Parbat view point to have close-up view of the Nanga Parbat the 9th highest mountain in the world which is known as the killer mountain for Germans - Overnight in Huts

DAY-05 Trek back to Tato village and departure for Karimabad, Lunch en-route at Rakaposhi view point, arrive in Karimabad and Transfer to the hotel for overnight

DAY-06 Day to visit Baltit Fort, Karimabad Local market for shopping, Channel walk, Evening to Duiker for sun set view. - Overnight at Duiker in hotel

DAY-07 Departure Khunjerab Pass (4700m) , This pass is one of the overland pass in the world which connect Pakistan with China en-route we will visit the Khunjerab National Park, while driving through the National Park you may see the Ibex and other wild animal if you have good luck!!, Drive back to Passu for overnight

DAY-08 Departure for Borth Lake, This day we will visit the Passu white glacier, the beautiful lake in Borith, after lunch at Borith we will start trek to the Ghulkin glaicer to see the best view of Shisper Peak (7611m) after the glacier we will move to Ghulkin village and transfer to the jeep for Gulmit. Overnight in hotel

DAY-09 Departure for Gilgit arrive in Gilgit, the rest day you can explore the Gilgit city or relax in the hotel

DAY-10 Departure for Besham, arrive in Besham and transfer to the hotel for overnight

DAY-11 Departure for Islamabad, en-route we will visit Taxila Fort and the town, arrive in Islamabad and transfer to the hotel for overnight

DAY-12 Departure to the airport and destination if flight is in the evening explore Islamabad city till the time of flight.
